This story was about my experiences to
accompany STiPrAm students who had student exchange program in Thailand.
Actually Student exchange Program between BUUIC with STiPrAm has already been done
last year with signing MOU By Mr
Suhendroyono,SH,MM,M.Par and Mr. Prof. Sompol Pongthai, FRTCOG,MPH,LLB Asian Tourism
Tertiary Education Institutions (AITTEI) Indonesia – Thailand, the event held in Dusit Thani Institute
Conburi Thailand on 16-17 February 2012 last year. STiPrAm and BUUIC Conburi
Thailand have an progressive action by student exchange program and sending a
number of students to both institution.
On the beginning STiPrAm has sent 11 students with 2 lecturer (The deputy of
student affairs Mr. H.Isdarmanto, SE,MM,M.Par and the deputy of exchange
student program Mr Ir. Aldi Wisnu Murti,
M.Hum) who had planned to go to Conburi Thailand in March 2013 later.
On Friday March 22nd 2013 the STiPrAm
team at 7.25 pm by Air Asia has landed in Swarnabumi Airport Bangkok Thailand. Mr.A.Samart
the Deputy of student affairs of BUUIC together with BUUIC Students Buddy have
picked us at the airport. By three bus, one Vans and two mini bus of BUUIC they
took us to Conburi City. But anyway they
had treated us directly with a welcome dinner party in Sea Food restaurant at
Conburi Thailand. The welcome dinner has attended by Prof Rana Pongruengphant,
Ph.D as the Dean of International College BUUIC accompany with Miss A Jantee as lecturer of BUUIC. We had been very happy
and enjoyed the dinner because that was our first experience to eat Thai food.
All participants both university were enjoyed and seemed they were very closed
each other, between STiPrAm students with BUUIC students.
The Menus has served in special Thai
style and taste , which was so different with our Indonesian taste. But finally we had ate them all too.. After
that we has taken to Condominium, that was a building with four stairs
especially used to accommodate any BUUIC
guest who has visit as an relationship with BUUIC. Awfully It has located around 2 km off from the BUUIC
building campus, it means everyday we have to walk 2 km go and back to BUUIC
campus from condominium.
Saturday, 23 March 2012 breakfast on our
own at 9.00 am , cause of the program detailed have no breakfast meal, so we
had prepared at the night before. In the
first day program at 1.00 pm we started coordination program orientation with BUUIC
faculty members until 1.30 pm. Than we have to leave BUUIC to go to Pattaya City
accompanied with Mr Samart Plangpramool, MBA (Asst Dean student Affairs) and
BUUIC Buddy students. At 2.30 pm we have a Hotel Tour in Montien Hotel luxury

to Sabai resort hotel in Pattaya, check-in at 3.30 pm and stay there only for
one night.
In the evening time at 7.00 pm we have
free dinner by our own, and than at 10.00 pm we go to Pattaya walking street, and there had
been a special event called Alcazar shows, which make around the beach were very crowded in deed. So
we were really lucky during our stay in Pattaya, having an international event as
Alcazar show, amazing group of lady boy
from Thailand. Unfortunately there have no any taxi car operation in those
area., there from Pattaya beach we have to walk back home for 5 km off, finished
at Hotel at 11.00 pm.
On Sunday at 9.00 we had check-out from
hotel and visited the Royal Temple of Wat Yannasangwararam at 11.30am, silver

& Hospitality Industri in front of the Dean and BUUIC students. The workshop
has done very well, and we have both given thanks giving by souvenir from each
other. Every STiPrAm students had presented very well upon their presentation
about Indonesian culture, but unfortunately just little BUUIC student who had been
able to participate on the presentation, because all the students buddy of
BUUIC who has planned to visit Indonesia has their own class meeting.
We have an Indonesian Day at 11.00 am where
all STiPrAm students had cooked several menus of Indonesian food and prepared
